Being a single mother does not mean you walk alone. Choose to give a hand to single mothers
and their children.
Nearly half of single mothers’ families live in poverty: their children are hungry and can’t focus
on school. This is the result of single moms lacking the career skills needed to get a job that
leads to economic independence and provides well for their children.

Research indicates that nearly half of single moms need help in three major areas.
. planning career goals and gaining the required skills
. Understanding finances and budget planning
. access to nurturing and supportive community
These negatively impact their children, their self-esteem and self-confidence.
